The new Sunset Beach ordinance will require all propertyowners on the Island and Mainland to ROLLOUT AND ROLL BACK garbage cans or they are subject to a $25 fine for each occurance.
Garbage collection within the Sunset Beach Town limits is provided by Waste Industries and regulated by Town Ordinance Chapter 50.
All property owners, residents, and visitors are encouraged to follow these simple rules:
•All carts must be kept at the house and out-of-view except when put out for collection.
•Carts are to be placed at the street no earlier than 6:00 pm the day prior to collection, but no later than 6:00 am on the scheduled day of collection.
•Carts must be pulled back to the house and out-of-view no later than 6:00 pm on the day after collection.
GARBAGE COLLECTION SCHEDULE
Seaside Station and Shoreline Woods - Saturday
Remainder of the Mainland and Island - Wednesday
From May through September, a second pick-up is made on Saturdays
at the following locations only: Island Club Villas River Creek Condos Colony I Colony II
